Impedimenta

I don't tend to take pictures of modern graves. It seems inappropriate and too personal for the recently bereaved to find pictures of their relatives on the Internet. It's a morality or ethics things. There aren't pictures of vases, flowers and the such like because they tend to be on modern graves. Either the older graves didn't have them in place or they have been removed by the Authorities. This is a sort of dilemma for the Church Authorities who want to keep the graveyard tidy and at the same time they want to avoid being caught as they remove vernacular expressions of grief. This picture is somehow dignified with a solid vase and flowers although the Authorities take exception at plastic and 'tat'.  Keep and eye out for the impedimenta that covers modern graves
